Challenge #2- Gee's Bend

    This next challenge will be to create a quilted block inspired by the Gee's Bend Quilts. At the Feb 21, 2012 meeting, we exchanged fabrics to use. Please see rules below. This challenge will be due at the April 17, 2012 meeting.

Rules:
1. Finished piece must be no larger than 18"x18".
2. There should be no embellishments, but you may embellish only with the fabrics you were given.
3. The only materials you can use other than the fabrics you received are thread, backing fabric of your choice, and batting.
4. Please leave your piece unbound, as we are looking to create a collage quilt out of the individual blocks (we will add sashing to each undersized block).
5. You must use at least 5 of the fabrics you were given.
